Excel Tutorial – RAND

The RAND function in Microsoft Excel is a function that generates a random number between 0 and 1. This function is useful for generating random numbers for various purposes, such as creating random samples, simulating data, and more.

To use the RAND function, follow these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Excel and select the cell where you want the random number to appear.
  2. Type the following formula into the cell: =RAND()
